Snow Brothers

Snow Brothers is a fixed-screen arcade game where players use snow as both a weapon and a mechanic for clearing enemies. The main characters, two snowmen, must trap moving enemies by repeatedly hitting them with snow until they become large snowballs. These snowballs can then be pushed to roll across platforms, knocking out other enemies in a chain reaction. The player must act quickly to avoid contact while setting up these attacks before the enemies break free from the snow.

Stage Loops and Timing Patterns

Each level is made up of a compact platform layout, with multiple tiers and specific enemy routes. Enemies follow patterns, giving the player opportunities to plan snowball positioning and movement. Some enemies can jump or shoot, adding urgency to each encounter. Timing plays a major role — waiting too long allows enemies to escape their snowy shells. Occasionally, potions drop from the top of the screen, providing temporary enhancements like increased speed or snowpower, but collecting them often involves taking calculated risks.

Two-Player Tactics and Score Building

The game supports two-player simultaneous play, allowing both characters to coordinate their attacks. Players can split up to control different parts of the screen or combine efforts to trap larger enemy groups. Bonus points are awarded for taking out multiple enemies with a single snowball, encouraging players to line up targets before pushing. As levels increase, new enemy behaviors and stage layouts force players to change strategies and work faster. Snow Brothers keeps its structure simple, but each round requires precision, speed, and situational awareness.
