Finding Frankie

Finding Frankie is a horror-platformer where players must survive an unpredictable obstacle course disguised as a televised parkour competition. After discovering one of three rare invitations in a cereal box, you are brought into a strange arena alongside two other contestants. What begins as a colorful game show quickly reveals itself to be something much more dangerous. The characters, including Frankie and Henry Hotline, lose their cartoon-like charm and reveal a much darker side. The competition turns lethal as you dodge traps, perform parkour moves, and try to avoid being hunted down during each stage of the game.

Advanced Movement and Escapes

The game focuses heavily on parkour mechanics, challenging players to run, slide, wall-jump, bounce, and climb their way through complex environments. Every course contains a different layout and set of traps, requiring quick reactions and awareness of enemy patterns. Between stages, the atmosphere shifts from frantic motion to eerie silence, where danger still remains. Each area within Frankie’s palace is designed to combine open play zones, trampoline rooms, and tight spaces like vents and underground tunnels. Movement precision and timing are key, as even the smallest mistake can lead to failure.

Support, Exploration, and Strategy

In addition to surviving parkour trials, players are accompanied by a helpful AI character known as the Assistant Duck. This companion offers tools like light bursts, area scans, and brief moments of calm. Despite its simple appearance, the duck becomes essential in exploring dark corridors and locating safe paths. The layout of the map encourages exploration, with hidden routes and shortcuts often leading to safer zones or key locations. Finding Frankie mixes survival mechanics, platforming, and stealth into one unpredictable structure, where every round may play out differently depending on player choices and movement decisions.
