After viewing the first recordings, she encounters a masked woman who claims to have known Kate and warns her of something powerful drawn to the tapes. Riley is led to the Kensdale Public Library, a location far larger and more complex than the previous house setting, filled with puzzles, secrets, and long-buried history tied to Amanda’s origins.
